Update: Aircel will start pre-booking from 18th November and iPhone 4S will be available from 25th November.

iPhone 4 was launched in India, one year after it was launched in US. But reports claim that, such would not be the case with iPhone 4S, as Airtel and Aircel have already unveiled their plans of bringing iPhone 4S to India (Check their respective Facebook pages for details). Reports even claim that iPhone 4S will be launched in India around 25th November and will be priced starting from Rs. 38,000. So get ready, India!

Google announces Android event on 16th November

Apple is replacing first gen iPod nanos

I know there won’t be many 1st generation iPod Nano users, but this news will surely cheer them that their iPod will be replaced for free. The reason for the replacement is said to be batteries of the iPod Nano that were sold betweem September 2005 and December 2006. The batteries are said to pose a safety risk, since a manufacturing defect in them caused the batteries to overheat. HTC Ville will run Android 4.0 and Sense 4.0

According to BGR, HTC Ville will be the first phone to come with Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed and also run the Sense 4.0. VIlle is said to sport a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display. It will be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Series 4 processor and a 8MP shooter on the back. The camera will feature a back-illuminated sensor, 1080p recording, Beats audio, HSPA+ and a 1650mAh battery pack. The phone is expected to be unveiled early next year.
