Facebook is constantly bringing new changes to its design and features, so that people kind of don’t get bored with it. Today, Mark Zuckerberg revealed the new design of Facebook’s News Feed at Facebook HQ in Menlo Park. Facebook took cue from its Mobile site design to create this new News Feed. The design unifies Facebook experience across all platforms – Computer and Mobile and Tablet. It has sidebar on the left similar to its mobile news feed. The images now look bigger and the content are more visible as compared to previous design. Now you can also view Photo feeds, Music feeds and different types of feed along with the usual News Feed. The new design will be gradually rolling out to users in coming weeks. To join the waiting list visit http://www.facebook.com/about/newsfeed. As Mark said the goal of this new design is to ”give everyone in the world the best personalized newspaper we can,”.

Marissa Mayer, CEO of Yahoo introduced new improved Yahoo! Mail with email clients for iOS, Android and Windows 8. The iOS app has got new side menu, one similar to Facebook. There are push notifications, adding image from camera roll and also speedy and power efficient. Android app has been written from the ground up. The iOS and Android Yahoo! Mail app looks similar to Gmail App. Windows 8 app has got the Metro look and supports live tiles. Over the next few days, most mail users will begin to experience the new web version of Yahoo! Mail. Here is what Marissa Mayer said on the official blog spot:

“Email is the ultimate daily habit. It’s often the first thing we check in the morning and the last thing before going to bed. Why? Because it’s one of the simplest and most basic forms of communication. And since it’s such an important part of our daily lives, we’re making a few improvements to Yahoo! Mail.”

The biggest challenge faced by any App Store is piracy. It not only hurts the revenue of Developers but also the brand image of App Store. Microsoft recently launched Windows 8 and it is doing everything to be used widely accepted by both developers and users. But this is something that will pose a problem for Microsoft. A Nokia engineer, Justin Angel has published a detail post how to edit few files and change a game from trial to full version. Well the steps are not that easy for any normal user but if you are interested in looking at Justin’s work hit the source. Also the news as gathered so much interest among people, that Justin’s website has gone offline due to heavy traffic. So for whom the website is still inaccessible we’ve also shared Google Cache link for the site. The Verge reached out to Microsoft for comment and A Microsoft spokesperson says:

“Variety of extra measures to help harden Windows 8″ against hackers. “Any successful software distribution channel faces the challenge of being targeted by people wishing to circumvent the system for ill-gotten gains and we’re committed to ongoing protection of both customer and developer interests.”
