And those who bought new PC or Laptop after June 2nd with Windows pre-installed can get it for just $14.99 or Rs 699 by visiting http://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com/. Now many would be thinking that only those who bought new machines after June 2nd can avail this offer, but anyone who knows how to use internet can get new Windows 8 Pro for just $14.99 or Rs 699. We don’t know if this is a bug or Microsoft intentionally did this so that maximum users buy Windows 8 legally. Below are the steps to avail this offer even if you are not eligible.
- Visit http://www.windowsupgradeoffer.com/ and select your country.
- Fill out the form with any random data, except your email address should be valid and date of purchase should be after June 2, 2012.
- Once the form is submitted you will receive a Promo Code in your email.
- Now visit this link. Indian users should use this link.
- Click on download Windows 8 Pro and Windows Upgrade Assistant will be downloaded.
- Open the downloaded file and it will check your PC for any possible errors that might occur while upgrading.
- Once everything is good to go you can buy Windows 8 from same program. It will show the price for Windows 8 Pro as $39.99 or Rs 1,999. But on “Confirm your order” screen you can enter the Promo Code which you received in your email and the price will come down to $14.99 or Rs 699.
- Once payment is done, you will receive your license key in email and now you can download Windows 8. If you don’t want to download the whole file then you can add physical Windows 8 DVD before checking out but that will cost you extra.
