Samsung recently lost a patent case against Apple in US, but that has not affected popularity of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S III. Samsung is said to have sold 20 million in just 100 days i.e. 200,000 devices per day. That makes Galaxy S III the best-selling smartphone for Samsung. If you break down the numbers then Samsung has sold 6 million units in Europe, 4.5 million in Asia, 4 million in North America, and 2.5 million in Korea. Will these numbers continue to grow with competition from Samsung’s own Galaxy Note 2, Motorola’s new Droid RAZR HD family, Nokia’s new flagship Lumia series and not to forget iPhone 5 is on the way.
