On 8th November 2011, the FBI, the NASA-OIG and Estonian police arrested several cyber criminals who were responsible for distributing DNSChanger malware. The malware altered user DNS settings, pointing victims to malicious DNS in data centers in Estonia, New York, and Chicago. The malicious DNS servers would give fake, malicious answers, altering user searches, and promoting fake and dangerous products. The malware has been estimated to have infected close to 4 million PCs around the world in 2011. The FBI is shutting down the infected severs from Monday. So people would think what is the worry?
