Amazon launches new Kindle, Kindle Touch, Touch 3G and Kindel Fire




Well if one product was not enough Amazon has gone all the way launching three devices.Lets look at each device separately.

 

Kindle Touch and Touch 3G:

First there is new Kindle Touch with IR touch system and it has no keyboard. It’s slimmer, smaller and lighter than the existing Kindle, with a muted silver chassis that looks almost nothing like the Kindles of today. Amazon as completely changed the UI. The Kindle Touch is available for only $99 and the 3G enable model will cost you $149 with with free global roaming pre-activated. You can pre-order it now, but it will be shipped only starting from 15th November.

 

New Kindle:

Amazon’s existing Kindle line-up is doing well, but Amazon thinks its not enough, So, they have launched a new Kindle for just $79. I’m right just $79. It looks similar to Kindle Touch but it lacks touch display. It does not have keyboard but have buttons for navigation purposes. You can order it now and it will be shipped within one day. This has led to drop on price of old Kindle Keyboard. The WiFi-only Kindle is going for as low as $99 with ads down from $114 with the non-ads edition for $139. While the 3G + WiFi edition has fallen from $164 to $139, and the ad-free version for $189.

 

 

 

Kindle Fire:

 

Now this the device for which we all have been waiting, its the Kindle Fire. Kindle Fire has been in talk since over a year. The tablet is tightly integrated with Amazon services. It will be packed with 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. You can use it to listen music, watch videos and pictures, use android apps, surf internet and of course read ebooks. It does not have camera, microphone and 3G. What’s makes this tablet amazing is that it will just cost you $199. Isn’t it amazing! You can pre-order it now but will be shipped starting from 15th November.

Lets look at the specifications:

  • Weighs only 14.6 ounces (around 400 grams)
  • Android Appstore, Kindle books, Magazines (All stored on Amazon Cloud Storage)
