Samsung recently launched 3 new Bada 2.0 handsets at IFA 2011 – Wave 3, Wave M and Wave Y. Only these handsets have newer version of Samsung’s Bada OS, whereas rest all other Wave phones have Bada 1.0. But things are gonna change for all Wave users. Samsung has announced through Twitter that all its Wave phones will get Bada 2.0 in Q4, 2011. The updates will be rolled out first in Europe and then to rest of the world. If the phones hardware are not suitable for Bada 2.0 then they will feature modified version of it whereas it will get a full Bada 2.0 update. So, one may be able to enjoy all the features of Bada 2.0 if they have the Wave I S8500 or Wave II S 8530 handsets. However, cheaper Bada handsets like Wave 525 and Wave 533 may not get all the features of Bada 2.0.
