Dell and Baidu will launch new smartphone

Dell has partnered with Baidu to develop a smartphone that will run on Baidu’s own new OS – Yi OS. Dell’s partnership with Baidu seems interesting news as Baidu currently dominates the Chinese market. Also, 80 percent of Chinese Android phones have the Baidu search engine on them. There is no news on availability and prices yet. Baidu Yi OS is somewhat based on Android and will have its own offerings like apps, cloud storage, music download, maps and online search.
