Once again, these are just speculations but apparently HTC is planning to launch its first Android powered tablet in the Indian market somewhere around the same time it launches in the international markets. Considering the recent new launches from HTC in India this may just be quite possible and the HTC Flyer may be available in the country by the end of May.
The HTC Flyer has a 7-inch display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm processor, however, it runs Android Gingerbread compared to the tablet optimized Android Honeycomb which runs on most of its competitors. It also includes a capacitive capable stylus, and the HTC Sense UI, optimized for tablet usage. It also includes a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera and a 4000 mAh battery.
It is expected that the 3G-enabled version with 32 GB of internal memory will launch in India at around Rs. 35,000.
