iPad 3 might come with “A5X” processor

As we are getting closer to iPad 3 launch, more and more leaks and rumors are unveiled everyday. Now according to a leaked image on Chinese forum WeiPhone, the iPad 3 will have an A5X processor. It was speculated that iPad 3 will have A6 processor, but it looks like Apple has different game in mind. MacRumors suggest that, the code “1146″ on the A5X processor indicates that the processor was manufactured on 46th week of 2011 (November 14th-20th). » Read more: iPad 3 might come with “A5X” processor

LG announces Optimus Vu

LG has announced its 5 inch smartphone – Optimus Vu, a competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note. Optimus Vu or Optimus View as everybody calls it, is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 2.3. An upgrade to Android 4.0 is promised after launch. VLC reaches 2.0

Angry Birds Are Going To Space

Rovio, the makers of Angry Birds, have announced their next game: Angry Birds Space!. They sure knows how to milk the cow. First they had Angry Birds, then came Angry Birds Seasons, after that Angry Birds Rio and now Angry Birds Space. iOS 5.1 GM screenshot leaked

Folks at BGR were able to get hands on with iOS 5.1 GM. They kind of played with the new verison and leaked few screenshots. The lock screen in iOS 5.1 has got a minor change, a fixed camera button located next to the slide to unlock button, and instead of tapping on it to launch the camera, you simply drag the entire unlock section up to open the camera app. Even Siri has learned Japanese as rumored. iOS 5.1 GM is expected to be released in first week of March.

Siri now claims she can speak Japanese, but she can’t

9to5mac noticed that Siri is not a good secret keeper. When floks at 9to5mac asked Siri what languages she speaks, well the answer was:

“I can speak French, English, Japanese and German… but I’m always learning.”

But Siri preferences only show English, French and German as supported languages. There were rumors that Siri might speak Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, and Russian from next month. Apple’s Siri FAQ says that she will support Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Spanish in 2012. We might hear something at iPad 3 launch which is rumored to take place on 7th March.

 

Apple settles “Antennagate” lawsuit

When iPhone 4 was launched back in 2010, many users were facing problem of low signals and frequent drop calls.
